RESIN8 SKATE WAS FORMED IN JANUARY 2023.

Following the tragic death of my son Will, who was a well-known and well-loved skater, a caring friend, a devoted brother, son, grandson and nephew, his family and friends want to ensure his legacy continues, if only in a fraction of the way that he would have continued in his life here on earth.

Will was all about supporting anyone in a time of need and always saw the positive. He was thankful for every day and if that day included an hour of “playing skateboards” then his light and energy shone even brighter.

Resin8 Skate is a play on words, Resin8 instead of Resonate, as we want to make sure that everything we are about and everything we do would have resonated with Will. Resin as this is the glue on the skateboard and he was the glue for many groups, family and individuals alike. The 8 is a play with the symbol for infinity as we will make sure he goes on forever within the good work that we hope will come out of this brand.

We are a non-profit company and all profits will for the year of 2023 /24 go to 2 chosen charities, The Skateboarding Foundation a UK based charity to pay for free skate camps around the country for kids that need a little support, to build confidence, resilience and provide a positive impact on the community.

Skateistan a global charity promoting skateboarding for girls and providing skateparks and education centres in challenging areas of the globe. The funds raised by Resin8 Skate will go towards Skateistan’s next big project, Skateistan in a Box. The first of which will be funded by us in Nairobi this year.
